Description
Derise (Darbepoetin Alfa) 200 mcg Injection is a synthetic form of erythropoietin, a hormone that is produced in the kidneys and stimulates the production of red blood cells. It is used to treat anemia due to chronic kidney disease, chemotherapy-induced anemia, anemia due to zidovudine (AZT) treatment in HIV-infected patients, and anemia in patients with certain types of cancer.
Composition:

Mechanism of Action:

Contraindications:
Derise is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to Darbepoetin Alfa or any of the other ingredients in the medication. It should also not be given to patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure or myelodysplastic syndrome.
Interactions:

Adverse Reactions:
