Description
Diovan-320 is a medication used to treat high blood pressure. It contains the active substance valsartan, which works by relaxing blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing the workload of the heart. It comes in a pack of 28 tablets, each containing 320mg of valsartan.
USES:
Diovan-320 is commonly used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), heart failure, and post-heart attack conditions. It is also used to help prevent kidney damage in diabetic patients.
HOW TO USE:
It is important to follow the dosage instructions specified by your healthcare provider. The usual recommended dose is one tablet of Diovan-320 once per day, with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablets; swallow them whole. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

OVERDOSE:
If you take more than the prescribed dose of Diovan-320, seek immediate medical attention. Overdose symptoms may include dizziness, fainting, and rapid heartbeat.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Common side effects of Diovan-320 include headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea and coughing. In rare cases, serious side effects such as acute kidney failure, liver problems, and allergic reactions may occur. If you notice any unusual symptom, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
