Sildamix 10x160mg contains sildenafil citrate, a PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction. It works by reversing the enzyme action that breaks down cGMP, which widens blood vessels in the penis. Sildamix should only be taken after a healthcare provider’s recommendation. The recommended starting dose is 50mg, and the medication should not be taken more than once a day.  The medication should not be taken with nitrates, alpha-blockers, HIV medication, or medications that inhibit CYP3A4. Sildenafil citrate can also treat other medical conditions, such as pulmonary arterial hypertension and altitude sickness, but it should only be used for the purpose prescribed.
